One last pic.  I have always wanted to compare these two, and finally we are at the right age to do so.

They are not quite as alike as I had always thought!  Gabbie has a very "girly" look, where as Isa has a "cutesie boyish" look.

Well, here I am, still waiting to see if the CP is going to take in my Youngers.  I should know at the end of the week or so.

But, while I wait, things could not be just a simple passage of time.  No!  Instead, I get a house full of children with strep!    What should I be surprised about?  Life is always full of surprises, and this is just the latest installment.

My life is kinda like a TV series.  There is a story line that is followed, but we like to keep them guessing as to exactly what is to come.  So, surprises are thrown in each and every episode.  And just to keep it really interesting, there are several "To Be Continued" episodes scattered throughout the "year".  And then, when you think you have it all figured out, there is the cliffhanging season finally.

Always so much fun and excitement in my life. 

Well, gotta run now.  LO is crying for my attention.

Well, this has just been an awesome weekend! 

Hubby went all out for my birthday and I am very pleased.  Though, not surprised!  He has gotten so much better over the last year.  For a long time he forgot or just did nothing special.  But, I am thinking those days are behind us. 

So, last night I was taken out in style!  We had reservations at a cool little place called the Melting Pot.  Having never been there, I had no idea what to expect.   What I got was a beautiful rose awaiting me on the table (a private table for two) and a unique meal served in four courses.  Everything was cooked right at the table, and actually, we were the ones to cook it. 

It was so cool!  And we had a great time.  And believe it or not, the children did not call once! 

And I have a very nice picture (in a cute frame) and a beautiful rose to remember the night by.  

And today was my birthday at home with the family.   A wonderful cake (not chocolate, so the LO could enjoy it) with icecream.  Hand picked by Hubby, himself.    Along with some uniquely, personalized gifts.    I am very happy!

I just can not believe how fast this year has flown by!  Before you know it, I will be bringing another LO into this world to join the family!  Now, if  only my oldest was around to see the birth of her brother.  And with hopeful prayers that my Mom will be here as well.
